The good news for students: a new gym is opened in the college

February 3rd is a big day for Vilnius College of Technologies and Design – the gym has opened its doors for college‘s academic community. VTDK in order to increase the physical activity and develop healthier lifestyle habits invites students to exercise for free in the newly equipped gym.

Sports project No. SRF-SIĮ-2019-1-0185 "Installation of the gym of Vilnius College of Technologies and Design and increasing the physical activity of students" was financed by the Sports Support Fund. In the gym students can not only play sports independently, but also participate in group trainings with professional trainers. But to do so, each student has to register (the form is at the bottom of the page).


Cardio and strength training with trainer Deividas Aukstuolis. It happens on Mondays from 15:30 to 17:30 h and on Wednesday from 15:00 to 17:00 h.

General body training with TRX belts (trainer – Otas Majeras). It happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:00 to 15:00 h and sometimes on Fridays from 15:30 to 17:30 h.

Nordic walking training to develop students' physical condition and aerobic endurance (trainer – Rasa Paulauskiene). It happens on Mondays and Fridays from 13:00 h.

Independent sports with trainer Gintaras Petrauskas or Nojus Vaiksnoras. It happens every day but at different times. On Mondays and Fridays it happens from 8:00 to 15:30 h, on Tuesdays from 8 to 11:30 h and from 16:30 to 20:00 h. On Wednesdays it happens from 12:30 to 14:30 h and on Thursdays from 8:00 to 11:30 h; 17:30 to 20:00 h.
